Evidence-Informed Behavioural Insight & Research Support for Health Programmes

What I Do

I support health, research, and education teams to turn evidence into usable insight, particularly where engagement, behaviour change, and service delivery are challenging.

My work sits at the intersection of psychology, public health, and systems thinking, developing evidence-based interventions in real-world contexts.

Who I Work With

  • Research and evaluation teams

  • Health and wellbeing programmes

  • Education and training providers

  • Community and third-sector organisations

How I Help

  • Evidence synthesis and literature reviews

  • Behavioural barrier and enabler analysis (COM-B informed)

  • Systems mapping of engagement, drop-out, and delivery challenges

  • Clear, decision-ready written briefings and reports

Supporting health, research, and community teams to understand engagement, behaviour, and delivery challenges in chronic illness and wellbeing — using psychology, public health, and systems thinking.

Evidence Synthesis & Research Support

With a background as an NHS Public Health Information Analyst and postgraduate training in psychology, I provide structured research support, including:

  • Rapid and scoping literature reviews

  • Critical appraisal and evidence synthesis

  • Bespoke reports and briefing papers

  • Support for research proposals and programme design

All work is grounded in established research methods and ethical practice.

Behavioural & Systems Insight

I have demonstrated experience in:

  • Literature reviews, critical appraisal, and report writing (APA 7 standards)

  • Public health reports and bespoke UK research projects

  • Course materials, including published companions and topic revision guides supporting person-centred care courses meeting AQA standards

  • Advanced statistical analysis, including SPSS, AMOS, and data interpretation

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with skills in research presentation and knowledge translation

I apply behavioural science and systems thinking to help teams understand:

  • Why people disengage from services or interventions

  • How behavioural, organisational, and system factors interact

  • Where small changes can improve engagement and feasibility

Tools include COM-B–informed analysis and simple systems mapping (e.g. causal loop diagrams).
